  • Lead the Digital Practice of Burson-Marsteller across Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA)

Masterclass description: Burson-Marsteller has designed a Tweet Academy to teach and train digital immigrants how to use Twitter in a secure and private environment. The objective of the Tweet Academy workshop is to train participants on Twitter; how to best connect and engage with other Twitter users, how to identify influential Twitter users and how to share engaging stories, @reply and interact with other Twitter users. The aim of the Tweet Academy is to develop best practices for tweets that can later be implemented on the corporate Twitter account and the personal Twitter accounts of staff. The Tweet Academy can also be used to simulate digital crisis situations. The Tweet Academy workshop can be run with up to 19 participants (or more if needed). We have set up 20 protected Twitter accounts to conduct the workshop. Participants will learn

  • How to search relevant Twitter users and who to follow
  • How to create Twitter lists of relevant users
  • How to write short, poignant and engaging tweets
  • How to use a hashtag
  • How to share content such as a blog post or an article
  • How to retweet, quote and otherwise share tweets
  • How to amplify positive tweets
  • How to react to negative tweets and handle tweet storms
  • How to conduct Twitter Q&A session
