Stéphanie Mader

Game Designer and Researcher, CEDRIC / CNAM

Stéphanie Mader has worked during three years as a developer and project manager for different swiss web agencies. In 2008, her strong interest for video games took the lead and she started a master in Game Design at ENJMIN (The graduate school of games and interactive media) at Angoulême, France. During the master, she designed games using particular interfaces (i.e. multitouch table, hearth sensors). Then, she moved to Paris to join Seaside Agency and became the Lead Game Designer of "Le Village aux Oiseaux", a therapeutic game that aims to stimulate the attention network of seniors suffering from the Alzheimer disease. In 2010, she started a PhD Thesis on Game Design Methods for Therapeutic Games at CEDRIC / CNAM (Center for Research in Computer Science and Telecommunications / Conservation National des Arts et Métiers).
