Mirko Bischofberger is the Scientific Advisor to the President of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Prior to that he was active in the Swiss Parliament on scientific issues and wrote as a freelance science journalist for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Mirko holds a Phd in biochemistry from the École Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne.
