Cheryl Brown

Marketing Coordinator, Institute of Development Studies

Cheryl leads and supports the marketing activity of the Information Department at the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex, whose free publications and websites communicate research and information about International Development. One area of her work is increasing understanding within the Department about its external environment and target audiences. Cheryl is particularly interested in applying marketing principles from other sectors to the Information Department's work. Outside of IDS, Cheryl is a marketing tutor for the Oxford College of Marketing, which enables her to share IDS' experiences with young marketers and belongs to several communications and marketing peer groups.
