Abby is Director of Research at Claro Partners, a Barcelona-based firm focused on helping clients navigate disruptive shifts in business and society. She leads the company's research explorations into disruptive opportunity spaces such as the personal data economy, the internet of things, the rise of micro-business, and new value exchange networks. With Claro, she combines perspectives from social science, design and business to create frameworks that transform disruption into real opportunities for business innovation and service design. She has her PhD in Anthropology and has previously worked at Ziba Design, Chicago Public Radio, and Harvard, Colby, and Lewis and Clark Universities.
