Bio
Sebastian Dieguez is a post-doctoral researcher in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He currently conducts research on the topics of bodily awareness and its disorders, numerical and spatial cognition, mental representations of randomness, as well as the neural basis of bilingualism. He has also written extensively on the relationships between art and neuroscience. His book Maux d’artistes: ce que cachent les oeuvres was published in 2010 (Belin). He is co-editor of the forthcoming Literary Medicine: Brain Disease and Doctors in Novels, Theater and Film (Karger).
