Jean-Baptiste Labrune

Researcher, Bell Labs

Jean-Baptiste is a researcher specialised in human-machine creativity. He develops systems allowing users to document and share their creative processes using novel interfaces using immersive interaction, gestural controllers robotic technologies and bio-mechatronic devices. In addition to an academic position at the MIT Medialab, he is now Lab Director at Bell Labs in their application domain where he leads research projects involving interdisciplinary teams from human sciences (sociology, psychology), design (interaction design, service design) and technology backgrounds. Jb Labrune did a Phd at INRIA and Université Paris Sud and a postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
