Open discussion description: Millions of scientific data communications are published every year. The communication of this knowledge generation has become a game of citation indices and the winners get funded and promoted. A number of recent publications highlights the flood of non-reproducible published data. The objective of the breakout session is to "breakdown" the pillars of the institution that has been built around communication of scientific pursuits. The team will lead the group to generate ideas for a highly interactive platform that addresses the weaknesses of the current model. And then invite the participants to develop the next-generation platform that will enable data sharing, collaboration, and novel impact measures for knowledge creation industry.
